Departing Testimony

We had a very short and last Zone Conference this past Wednesday. Elder Alonzo, the Area President, toured the mission with President and Sister Baird in 11 days, which in a normal mission wouldn't be that quick, but here with 6 different countries and unreliable air travel that is a miracle. President and Sister Baird instructed us about finding people, and I and two other missionaries gave our departing testimonies. Elder Alonzo also bore his powerful testimony at the end of conference. I am truly so grateful for what I have learned and come to know on my mission about my Savior Jesus Christ. This is His church and He is at the head of it. The Spirit was felt very deeply during Zone Conference.

We spent a lot of time finding new people this week. We this nice family over by one of our other investigators who were just like blown away when we told them about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon. We are excited to go back and see some of these people.

Sonny came back to church again this week. Almost the whole hour during Elders Quorum he had his face buried in the Book of Mormon, reading it intently. Amazingly we still haven't been able to go see him yet, because he is SO busy. Reinaldo was there as well as 4 other people we are teaching.

July is almost over and my time is coming to a close. We are really excited about these last three weeks though!
